Jaimie van Sikkelerus of the MPM Routz Racing team finished on the podium at the British Supersport race at Oulton Park!
In the first race Jaimie made a good start and managed to take third place. Jaimie kept setting sharp times on the incredibly difficult circuit with all kinds of blind corners and height differences. They fought until the last turn and finally Jaimie finished in a great third place. With this result he took place on the podium and scored important points for the championship.
In the second race Jaimie was allowed to start from pole position for the first time. On lap seven Jaimie braked too late for a turn and slipped straight off the track and fell back to ninth place. He kept fighting until the finish flag and managed to come in seventh.
Jaimie will travel to Donnington Park in two weeks with a feeling of confidence. MPM congratulates Jaimie on his podium finish and is already looking forward to the next race.
